The Twitter account of customer support for Blizzard has issued numerous updates to let players know that the company is aware of the problems they're encountering D2R Items, and of the team's efforts at implementing solutions.
The account has repeatedly tweeted the message "Today's login and game problems with creation have been solved," but these maintenance efforts are not able to resolve the issue.
Players have taken to both Twitter and Reddit to share their thoughts about their experiences attempting playing Diablo II: Resurrected. Although some players on r/Diablo have created memes about the game's login issue, others have stated that the issues bring them into "i would like a refund region."
Although Blizzard's official Twitter feed for customer support repeatedly acknowledged players' patience, some have been fed up with the constant issues, and have started their own hashtag, #RefundD2R.
"Damn guys, login issues happen every day," one person tweeted with the hashtag as another user, who was annoyed, said, "same day, same time, same channel. This is unbelievable. Five days in this shit."
One user who requested an refund received a reply from Blizzard in which they denied the request. Other players on Reddit claimed that Blizzard had refused their refund requests due to the length of time they had spent gaming prior Diablo 2 Resurrected buy items, before experiencing outages.
